How does one navigate life?

Donna Marks offers a great deal of insight and wisdom into this road trip called life. She’s dealt with a difficult family life, addiction issues, divorce, parenting and  more. And as a therapist, she helps others navigate their ups in the road.

Donna is the author  of Exit the MazeOne Addiction, One Cause, One SolutionLearn, Grow, ForgiveA Path to Spiritual Success, and The Healing MomentSeven Paths to Turn Messes Into Miracles, She developed a chemical dependency training program at Palm Beach Community College, which has grown into a four-year degree and received the Florida Governor’s Council Award. She is also a certified gestalt therapist, psychoanalyst, hypnotist, and sex therapist. She’s facilitated A Course in Miracles for over 30 years.

Donnas’s message is a wholistic one about making good choices, developing good habits and living an authentic and rewarding life. How does one get onto this path?

“Well, for me, doing the wrong things and not being happy was the first step,

recognizing that there must be a better way, a happier way.”

Donna notes that: “One of the reasons I wrote the book, the Healing Moment, is because I recognized as a child that there are two parts to every one of us. We have our human being who’s trying to understand life.   But even more importantly, we have a spirit that resides within us where there is infinite wisdom, infinite comfort, love and light.”

I asked Donna about our emotions. She boiled it all down to the essentials:

“I don’t think emotions are complicated at all.

And I don’t think there’s a lot of them.

I think there’s two. I think there’s love and fear.”

Join us for a light filled conversation of courage, wisdom and hope from a remarkable woman who has walked the walk to a deeply meaningful life and now leads others on their path.
